Abstract
To date, in around one lakh and four thousand matters, nearly 227 crore rupees have been distributed by 36 courts working on the matters of compensation. But Abdul Jabbar from Women's Association of Gas Victims has said that the way the matter is being handled in a black mark on the legal history of the country and is the second biggest tragedy of the decade.
